Karl Strauss will be pouring at the Capital of Craft Beer Fest this Saturday, right on the water at Broadway Pier. It's 70+ local beers, live music, great food, and a whole afternoon dedicated to the scene we've been part of since 1989. • Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (VIP ticket holders get in an hour early)

What We're Pouring

We're bringing three of our own to the pier this Saturday:

Oktoberfest — our seasonal deep golden and smooth, layered with toasted malt and finished with Hallertau Perle hops for a subtle floral touch. 5% ABV, brewed for celebration whenever your party begins. Prost!

Boat Shoes Hazy IPA — Citrus and sweet fruit linger through a juicy, unfiltered finish. Intensely hopped, 7.2% ABV, and made for the nautical lifestyle — actual boat not required."

Hard Cherry Cola — The soda you grew up on, reimagined. Sweet cherry, smooth and crisp, at 5% ABV. Light the fuse!

Three very different pours, one very good reason to come find our tent.

Why This Fest Matters

This is San Diego's beer scene showing up for itself — dozens of local breweries, one pier, and a whole community that's spent decades building this city's reputation as a craft beer destination. We've been pouring in San Diego since before most hard seltzers and canned cocktails existed, and events like this one are exactly why we keep showing up.
