To celebrate our anniversary each year, we brew a batch of specialty beer and let it age in American oak bourbon barrels for twelve whole months. This year’s batch is a full-bodied Imperial Stout with an abundance of darkly kilned malts and a decadent helping of cocoa nibs. Aging the beer in bourbon barrels brings out rich layers of smooth toasted oak and warming bourbon. 27 years ago, we decided to give this “craft beer” thing a college try. Today, we thank you for supporting your local, independent craft brewery all these years– it’s time to join in the celebration!
