Karl Strauss Highlights Craft Beer in La Jolla with “Wall Street Brewdown”

San Diego, CA – September 14, 2011 Karl Strauss is celebrating the grand reopening of its La Jolla Brewery Restaurant with an exclusive craft beer and food pairing event. “Wall Street Brewdown” will showcase the newly renovated space, highlighting Karl Strauss as the craft beer destination in La Jolla. The event will take place on Thursday, September 28, 2011 from 5pm to closing. This one-time only event will feature 12 beers paired with more than 20 delicious small plates.

The reopening will also debut Tower 20 IIPA—a bolder, hoppier version of fan-favorite Tower 10 IPA. “We thought this would be the perfect event to unveil Tower 20 IIPA, so people can try them side by side,” says Paul Segura, Brewmaster, Karl Strauss Brewing Company. “We’ll be tapping Tower 20 on cask, and as a special treat, we’ll also be pouring it straight from the brewing tank.”
