PS: I thought it would get me invited to parties.

NC: Right now the Saison is poppin, the combination of a unique yeast note, spice and tartness makes my stomach dance inside!

What is your favorite thing about living in San Diego?
NC: The mix of many cultures and ideals makes S.D. a well rounded environment, can't complain about the climate either.

What inspired you to brew?
NC: Mostly my older brother, who opened my eyes to the finer side of beer. I was also seduced by a 22.

NC: “It's all about the love.” if I told you, it would'nt be a secret now would it.

When you are not drinking beer what are you doing?
NC: Composing music is my first love. I mainly focus a lot of my time on improving technique and making new grooves.

LW: The bitter hoppy flavor and citrus aroma make Tower 10 my favorite Karl Strauss beer. (The 6.5% ABV doesn’t hurt either)

LW: I prefer to be in my backyard firing up the grill while I enjoy a nice cold brew.

LW: Of course there is the nice weather, and the beautiful beaches, and the laid back people, and the food, and the beer, and the……

What inspired you to brew?
LW: In 1999 I went to Home Brew Mart to check it out and I came out with my first brew kit. The only inspiration I needed was the thought of drinking my own beer.

LW: No secrets, good beer comes from good ingredients and attention to detail.

LW: Cooking up some grub or maybe playing some Frisbee golf.
